Upon your pre-confirmation, our company representative or the Driver/guide will meet you at your place at 7.30 am and will starts drive to Sinharaja Rain forest. (Approximate 4 1/2 hours drive)
On route will stop for 30 minutes in a convenience restaurant to have breakfast, tea/coffee, and refreshment before the first reach Sinharaja.
Check in to your accommodation located the border of Rain forest reserve and have rest before forest trek.
Sinharaja Forest Reserve is Located through Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces. Mainly two regional entrances according to our this travel plan we will enter from the direction of Sabaragamuwa province via Weddagala, Kalawana entrance.
Sinharaja is a natural forest reserve and a top-rated biodiversity hotspot in the world. It is of international significance and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Flora and Fauna mixture with endemic species, including trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.
After the rain forest track, your guide will take you to your accommodation. You can separate order dinner at the hotel or our driver-guide will take you for suitable outside local restaurant upon your choice.
After morning hotel breakfast starts drive to Udawalawe at 8.00 am. (About 3 hours drive).
When you reach Udawalawa stop for Lunch and refreshment before Udawalawa elephant transits home visits.
Visit Udawalawa Elephant transits home and target time of the bottle-feeding session at noon. (12.00 12.30 pm)
Elephant Transit Home referred to as the Elephant home to around 40 baby elephants from the wild after the loss of their parents. As here are bottle-fed milk until the age of 3-6 years, after which they’re given a diet of grass. At the age above 5 years, most are released into the national park as a result of they are familiar with wildlife and to be survived by their own. Visitors worth to be there daily during about 30 minutes feeding sessions 9.00 am, noon (12.00), 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm.
Then Afternoon safari at Udawalawa National park.
Uda Walawe developed as one of Sri Lanka’s most popular national parks. Mainly to see the large and easily spotted wild elephants. Udawalawa is the best place on the island to see the wild. Localization wise Udawalawa is situated beautiful part of the separation of the south of the hill country, while at its center the Uda Walawe Reservoir, catchment area it was originally established to protect. Uda Walawe lies in the dry zone, and its landscape is flat and open, with extensive areas of grassland and low scrub. The actual landscape of the park is rather monotonous during dry periods. Elephants which there are usually around five hundred in the park are free to move along an elephant corridor between Udawalawa and Lunugamvehera National Parks, though most stay here. Also, hundreds of buffaloes, macaque and monkeys, deer and crocodiles, and other rarely sighted residents include leopards, squirrels, jungle cats, and sloth bears. Uda Walawe is also good or birds. including a number of endemics and some birds of, while the reservoir also attracts a wide range of aquatic birds. This safari will be around 2.00 to 6.00 pm.
After the safari, your driver will take you to your accommodation closer to Udawalawa National park entrance. You can separate order dinner at the hotel or our driver-guide will take you for suitable outside restaurant upon your choice.
After morning hotel breakfast starts drive to Yala at 9.00 am (Approximate 2 1/2 hours drive).
Check into your Yala accommodation and after some rest, our safari jeep will pick you for the game drive.
Yala National Park visitors have more chances to witness varies Ecosystems, moist monsoon forest, dry monsoon forest, grasslands, freshwater wetlands, and marine wetlands. Yala National Park is known as the second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. Also, floras and faunas which includes endemics to Sri Lanka. Another specialty of Yala is Sri Lankan leopardess paradise as they are the top in the food chain. And there are over 200 elephants are there. Sri Lankan sloth bears, wild buffaloes, deers, crocodiles, peacocks, etc.
Your driver-guide will arrange this afternoon half-day game drive by a privet safari jeep.
After the safari, your driver/guide will take you back to your accommodation in Yala. You can separate order dinner at the hotel or our driver-guide will take you for suitable outside restaurant upon your choice.
Yala Full Day Safari
Morning leave for a game drive at 5.30 am. Your driver-guide will arrange this full day game drive by a privet safari jeep. including taking away breakfast and safari Lunch.
After the safari, your driver/guide will take you back to your accommodation in Yala. You can separate order dinner at the hotel or our driver-guide will take you for suitable outside restaurant upon your choice.
Morning leave for Bundala National park game drive at 5.00 am with taking away breakfast.
Bundala National Park is widely famous as a bird’s paradise added to the Ramsar List as Sri Lanka’s first internationally recognized wetland. which covers an area of 6,200 hectares, contains 90 species of plants belonging to 47 families. Fifty-three bird species belonging to 150 families have been identified according to research carried out. Fifty species of migrants birds can be seen, of which eight are rare. More than 20,000 birds arriving at Bundala throughout the year in search of food and habitats. This morning safari will be around 6.00 am – 9.30 am
After the safari, your driver/guide will take you to back to your accommodation in Yala. After refreshment leave to Colombo. (about 6 hours direct drive)
About 3 hours drive along the Southern coastal drive and Finally will proceed to Southern express highway for another 3 hours drive for the next half distance to Colombo.
